I’m happy to recommend Master Weixiu Huang as an instructor. He teaches Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu and Chen Tai Chi, and I’ve benefitted greatly from training and discussions with him He is highly skilled in both form and application, whether it’s solo practice, partner work, or push hands.

What stands out the most about Weixiu is his teaching style. He’s approachable, warm, and a great communicator, making difficult concepts easier to grasp. He’s also flexible in his approach, adapting his methods to help each student understand the material in their own way.

Weixiu is also open-minded when it comes to working with students from other martial arts backgrounds, and he’s confident enough in his own art to have respectful, challenging exchanges with senior practitioners from other styles. All in all, he’s a fantastic teacher who’s genuinely passionate about martial arts and about helping his students grow.
